Silke Lütgens-Junga

In almost two decades in the international corporate environment, Silke Lütgens-Junga learned change and transformation from scratch and was able to accompany and lead complex organizational changes early on.

It all started in the IT environment: There she learned early on how to formulate the IT requirements for departments in such a way that the result of so-called change requests, as well as IT transformations, actually brings the desired result. For the consultant, moving at the interface between organization and IT means being able to think in the world of colorful and sometimes chaotic prose as well as in zeros and ones and to translate both for the other side.

Silke Lütgens-Junga has been at home in the project environment for over 25 years and therefore not only knows the stumbling blocks that can be encountered on the way to the goal, but also how to skip them or eliminate them before they endanger success and the budget.

That motivates me the most as a consultant.

Since 2009, I have been supporting the exciting challenges of my customers in the areas of organizational development, change management and continuous improvement as an interim manager, project manager or management consultant.

I support them in implementing their strategies in a targeted manner and leading them to sustainable success. Here I am happy to take on responsibility for operational management in organizations or the management of projects.

I need the challenge that complexity brings to make my work fun. This should result in an optimal fit of structure and culture; just the best of both worlds.

The most exciting challenges in change management.

For me, siding with internal or external customers means being able to constantly change perspectives. This often reveals surprising insights and motivations from all those involved, which enable us as change managers to develop good solutions in order to achieve our goals.

True to my motto, this also means that the spirit and mind must always remain awake. For me it is exciting to mentally put yourself in the organization’s shoes, to think ahead to the goal and success and to derive the necessary measures backwards in order to then set about implementing them in a targeted manner.

When I need to get away from it all.

For me, really switching off means time by or on the water. Simply direct your eyes into the distance, calm your thoughts or concentrate fully on navigating while sailing.

Switching off also means time with my family and friends, good conversations and good food, preferably prepared by myself. I also read a lot and enjoy reading, which always gives me insight into exciting worlds and thoughts.
